The UN - Iran Nexus
Encouraging Genocide via the UN

Tehran, Iran, March 9, 2009

Iranian President's Website

President of the UN General Assembly Miguel d'Escoto Brockmann
and his comrade Iranian President Ahmadinejad

June 26, 1945: The UN Charter - "WE THE PEOPLES OF THE UNITED NATIONS DETERMINED to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind, and to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small..."

March 4, 2009: Iranian President Ahmadinejad - "The world look[s] at Zionism ...as a manner full of evil and satanic objectives and means....The basic philosophy of the Zionist regime's existence was to scatter corruption, aggression and expansionism throughout the world...The Zionist regime is the product of a few big lies made up by the arrogant and colonial governments to dominate the Islamic world and the entire globe...the story of Holocaust...All those lies were a pretext to the Zionist regime's crimes."

March 9, 2009: UN General Assembly President Miguel d'Escoto Brockmann praised Iran for its "important and influential role in the improvement of the
world's situation."

New York, September 23, 2008

December 10, 1948: The Universal Declaration of Human Rights : "Whereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world..."

September 23, 2008: Iranian President Ahmadinejad: "In Palestine, 60 years of carnage and invasion is still ongoing at the hands of some criminal and occupying Zionists. They have forged a regime through collecting people from various parts of the world and bringing them to other people's land by displacing, detaining, and killing the true owners of that land. With advance notice, they invade, assassinate, and maintain food and medicine blockades, while some hegemonic and bullying powers support them...The dignity, integrity and rights of the American and European people are being played with by a small but deceitful number of people called Zionists. Although they are a miniscule minority, they have been dominating an important portion of the financial and monetary centers as well as the political decision-making centers of some European countries and the US in a deceitful, complex and furtive manner...The great people of America and various nations of Europe need to obey the demands and wishes of a small number of acquisitive and invasive people. These nations are spending their dignity and resources on the crimes and occupations and the threats of the Zionist network against their will...Today, the Zionist regime is on a definite slope to collapse..."

Director General, International Atomic Energy Agency Mohamed ElBaradei
& Iranian President Ahmadinejad

November 15, 2007: Report of the Director General on the Implementation of the NPT Safeguards Agreement and relevant provisions of Security Council resolutions 1737 (2006) and 1747 (2007) in the Islamic Republic of Iran: "Contrary to the decisions of the Security Council, Iran has not suspended its enrichment related Activities... Iran has also continued the construction of the IR-40 and operation of the Heavy Water Production Plant."

January 10, 2008: "Dr. ElBaradei welcomes the visit as a chance to enable the IAEA to provide assurance about Iran's past and present nuclear activities....ElBaradei has repeatedly noted that...the IAEA has not seen any diversion of material to nuclear weapons or other nuclear explosive devices..."

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Louise Arbour, (orange scarf)       Listening to a speech by President Ahmadinejad
The UN's highest human rights authority attends a "human rights" conference in Tehran and listens closely to Ahmadinejad from the front row.

September 3, 2007: Ahmadinejad's words: "The Islamic Revolution wants to prepare the ground for materialization of the promised 'big event' (reappearance of the Imam of Age);...We are against rule of the non-righteous individuals... [R]evolutionary Iran aims at global government and a genuine Islamic culture so as to gain a loftier position worldwide." And yet another call for Israel's destruction..."the Zionist regime's occupation...60 years ago."

September 5, 2007: The day after Arbour left Iran the government felt sufficiently buoyed by their UN stamp of approval, that they executed 21 prisoners. People are executed in Iran for charges like "enmity against God" or "being corrupt on earth."

Former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan &
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

July 12 - August 14, 2006: 3,900 missiles were fired at the Israeli civilian population, supplied by Iran and directed at Israel by Iran's proxy terrorist organization, Hezbollah.

September 3, 2006: Annan took it upon himself to travel to Tehran to meet with Ahmadinejad in a bid to stymie international attempts to isolate the Iranian leader. This was despite the fact that Ahmadinejad had called for the annihilation of the Jewish state, said the Holocaust was a myth, refused to comply with Iran's nuclear non-proliferation obligations, and supplied missiles onto the Israeli civilian population only the month before.
