The terrified Yazidi Kurdish women were herded into the cages before being set on fire in a city square in the ISIS-stronghold of Mosul in Iraq.
Kurdish news agency ARA was told the women were sentenced to death after defying orders of ISIS commanders to be the sex slaves of jihadi fighters.
Abdullah al-Malla, a local media activist, said: "They were punished for refusing to have sex with IS militants."
Hundreds of bystanders watched the women's tortuous deaths as they were killed in batches.
Up to 500 Yazidi women and girls were kidnapped and sexually abused by militants in August 2014 – with many driven to suicide by ISIS' savage campaign of sexual violence.
Last year it was revealed that more than 500 Yazidi women and young girls were abducted by ISIS fighters when they stormed the Sinjar region, also in northern Iraq, in August 2014 and slaughtered more than 5,000 of its men.
Dozens have been driven to suicide by the fighters who abused them.
ISIS is fond of public executions and regularly carries out barbaric acts including public beheadings, stonings and pushing people to their deaths from the top of tall buildings.
One ISIS jihadi even publicly executed his own mother before a baying crowd after she urged him to flee the terror organisation.
The rights group Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently (RBSS) said 20-year-old Ali Saqr killed his 45-year-old mother Leena Al-Qasem for abandoning Islam.
The postal worker was executed outside the post office where she worked in the ISIS-held city of Raqqa as hundreds looked on.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said its activists were able to verify that the woman, from the city of al-Tabaqa, was sentenced to death under the pretext of "inciting her son to leave the Islamic State" with a view to fleeing from Raqqa.
She reportedly told her son that the coalition would "kill all members of the organisation" and he had to leave with her.
However, her son, a member of the murderous regime which is also known as Daesh, reported his mother to ISIS leaders for apostasy and later carried out the savage killing.
